[i cry]: When children or animals get hurt, because they can’t defend for themselves and it’s our responsibility as grown ups to shelter them from evil. When they get hurt – we have failed! (I stole this one word by word from Jonas.)

Tillbaka till sången

Ja, så då har man satt igång sjungandet igen.
Idag provsjöng jag för en kör - och blev antagen.

Nu har det varit ett uppehåll på drygt ett år, så nu pockar sånglusten på.
Att sjunga tillsammans med andra är något som alla borde testa, oavsett form. Man upplever plötsligt att summman är större än delarna. Man står inne i klangen och bara surfar, och upptäcker att den egna rösten faktiskt bidrar.

Så nu blir det ett projekt med helt nyskriven musik, blandat med mer traditionella saker. Nästa år väntar troligen ett riktigt stort och ambitiöst projekt, ett verk som jag aldrig har sjungit av en tonsättare jag har haft väldigt lite kontakt med. Ska jag skriva vad det är? Elijah av Mendelssohn. (Ärligt talat så har jag inte hört hela verket ens.)
